Another Busy Month with New Books Coming Out Soon!

Updated: Apr 11, 2023

Hi, I thought I'd share about four new books that will be released in September ON THE SAME DAY! September 13th is going to be overflowing with some sweet books! Each one is a different genre so they just might fit your interest. Here is a short part of my reviews and graphics for each book. Wishtress by Nadine Brandes “Relief and freedom came in acknowledging and accepting our brokenness. It was okay to be broken as long as we didn’t build a home in it.”

I loved this quote from this book.

So many of us feel broken, worthless, or used.

In this enchanting tale, the two main characters are striving to find hope and peace, in a world where they are looked upon as flawed and have been used by others for their own purposes.

Myrthe was used all of her life, for her tears. She was the Wishtress and could grant wishes with her tears. Bastiaan had a talent to stop time and was just trying to help the King see the value of letting anyone have a chance to get a “talent.”

Things go terribly wrong and both characters go on a long journey to correct it before one of them dies.

This story had beautiful word pictures and left me with tons of feelings.

It's a magical story about relationships, friendships, love, and finding worth. It's also a story about righting wrongs and conquering evil.

To Win a Prince by Toni Shiloh This is the second book in the African “royal” series by Toni Shiloh.

Iris is the crazy fun-loving friend of the queen of a small island off Africa. Readers met the queen in the first book, In Search of a Prince.

Ekon had mistakenly been a small part of a plot to dethrone the queen, his punishment was to work with Iris, helping to get her company started. The problem was their feelings for each other. He was a prince stripped of his title, a criminal, and a non-believer. She was an American, a friend of the queen, and a believer in Christ. Could they work together and not let their hearts get in the way?

Fall Out by Carrie Stuart Parks Fall Out is written by Carrie Stuart Parks and it deals with many events that surrounded the mystery of the Hanford plant and all the things that happened in 1949 and the 1980s.

I enjoyed this author’s writing. She had a colorful way of depicting all the suspense, and action, as well as the process of finding out who really was behind the events.

This is actually the first book I’ve read by this author and now I think I might read more.

The story flowed smoothly and at a nice pace. The dialogue and action kept me reading to the very end.

Entrusted by Jody Hedlund This is the last book in the Knights of Brethren series and, OH. MY. GOODNESS, it is a story that will captivate you and hold you spellbound until the very end!

I have loved all the books in this series and the wonderful way Jody Hedlund writes. She has a magnificent way with words, which help to convey colorful images, sweet dialogues, and fierce battle scenes. This author is one I will choose to read anytime and anywhere. Her stories come to life, and I get lost in them, not wanting to come back to the “real” world.

In this last book, we get to meet Princess Birgitta who is full of spunk and sass! She can hold her own on any battlefield. Then we get to finally see Kristoffer. (The last Knight of Brethren who hasn’t found a match.) He’s a true man of honor and quite a hunk.

The two battle it out not only with swords but also with wit. I loved all their dialogue, banter, fierce emotions, and sweet romance.

This is a spellbinding story about love, honor, friendship, loyalty, and justice. It's also a story about righting wrongs and conquering evil.

In the end, the author did a stunning job of bringing all the past Knights together in one battle to fight together again.

There you go . . . Have fun with these new books! I hope you like them as much as I have!
