A while back I started reading this YA series. If you don't know what YA means, that's okay, I didn't either - it means Young Adults. Now I'm not a "young adult," but I really do enjoy reading some of these books. The series is by Serena Chase and they just might capture you and take you to places you've never imagined.
Here are my reviews for each book. Enjoy!
The Ryn Ok everyone, I have now found another GREAT author to read. If you like story's that are full of adventure, good vs. evil, pirates, knights, love and vivid word pictures.....then you will LOVE this author and her new series...Eyes of E'veria. This first book "The Ryn" will captivate you until the very end. Great read!
The Remedy
This second book in the series is so packed full of action, romance, good vs. evil, and much more it will keep you going and not stop until you've read the whole book! Serena has a wonderful way of using BEAUTIFUL word pictures to tell this story. I believe if you like, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, then you will LOVE this series just as I do! Dive in and enjoy the adventures!
The Seahorse Legacy Serena has done it again! I was captured even before I started this book, when I read the last two, yet, this one has its own story to tell. I love all the action, drama, romance (or almost romance), and the suspense this book brings! I love the strong personality of Erielle and her constant blunders in trying to be knightly. She tries to do good, but she just can't make it work. The same goes for Cazien, he tries to do the right thing, but until he's ready to accept the Legacy, nothing he does works. It will be fun to see what will happen in the next book. I'm looking forward to the adventure!
The Sunken Realm
HUZZAH! I LOVED THIS SERIES!
There are not enough words to express the delight I've had reading these books. First - The Ryn, then The Remedy, next the Seahorse Legacy and now The Sunken Realm. Throughout these books Serena Chase has woven a story that is rich in action, suspense, humor, conviction, and romance. Four books, one story, but with two parts. This book is the Grand Finale of the second part, yet it ties both parts together in a captivating tale. It also touches on issues we face here in our present time. One of those issues is human trafficking. I love how Serena has coupled with some agencies to help stop this terrible business.
